Axial Compensators AX
AX Axial Expansion Compensators mainly absorb movements along the axis of the pipeline (compression and tension) resulting from, among other things, thermal expansion of the pipeline. It is possible to compensate for small displacements in all directions if the compensator is not equipped with additional elements inner and outer sheaths and ties.
As a standard, the bellows are made of steel grade 1.4541 (AISI 321) alternatively, at the customer’s request, we make compensators with bellows of steel 1.4304 (AISI 304), 1.4404 (AISI 316L), 1.4828 (AISI 309) or other.
The compensator can be equipped with any type of connection (flanged, weldable, threaded, etc.), according to the needs of the customer.
