Fabric Compensators

Fabric expansion joints used mainly for gaseous media (air, outlet gases) and dusty media. They operate at temperatures that can reach 1000÷1200°C and low pressures (0.1MPa). They can compensate for longitudinal, transverse and oblique movements. They are used on desulfurization, gas removal and drying installations, in chimney installations, in power plants, chemical plants, refineries, steel mills, mills.

Energomet Fabric Compensators

Fabric expansion joints are made of several layers of glass, silicate, ceramic or aramid fabric materials. – Which are selected depending on the temperature at which the compensator will work and depending on the medium with which it will come into contact (different chemical resistance of the materials used). When selecting fabric compensators, the speed of the medium flow is of vital importance, on which depends the selection of the appropriate fabric and the possible use of additional shields to protect the soft parts of the compensator. We offer fabric compensators with flanged connections and for clamps, both of rectangular and circular cross-section.

Types of Energomet Fabric Compensators:

Deflectors

Deflectors used mainly for gaseous media (air, exhaust gases) and dusty media. Their design includes an internal shield to increase the life of the element.
