Lateral Compensators LT
LT Transverse Compensators absorb lateral movements from the axis of the pipeline. Compensators equipped with ties or joints can operate in one or multiple planes. Additional axial movements can be interlocked to negate pressure forces on pipeline supports.
As a standard, the bellows are made of steel grade 1.4541 (AISI 321) alternatively, at the customer’s request, we make compensators with bellows of steel 1.4304 (AISI 304), 1.4404 (AISI 316L), 1.4828 (AISI 309) or other.
The compensator can be equipped with any type of connection (flanged, weldable, threaded, etc.), according to the needs of the customer.
