Special Compensators

Special compensators absorb axial movements of the pipeline. They are equipped with covers and stops to protect the bellows from damage. Due to their specialized construction, they are used in such installations as:

• pre-insulated pipelines
• underground pipelines
• district heating pipelines

As a standard, the bellows are made of steel grade 1.4541 (AISI 321) alternatively, at the customer’s request, we make compensators with bellows of steel 1.4304 (AISI 304), 1.4404 (AISI 316L), 1.4828 (AISI 309) or other.

The compensator can be equipped with any type of connection (flanged, weldable, threaded, etc.), according to the needs of the customer.
